Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 SDCC Trailer Confirms Premiere Date

AMC has released a new trailer for Fear the Walking Dead season 6, confirming the show will return in October. It had originally been the plan for Fear the Walking Dead season 6 to release this summer, but given how the coronavirus pandemic led to the delay of both The Walking Dead season 10 finale and the premiere of another spinoff, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, it isn’t too surprising to learn that Fear season 6 is also delayed.

As a spinoff of The Walking Dead, Fear began a little differently from its parent show by setting its story during the earliest days of the outbreak. After a few seasons and several changes in the cast, however, Fear began to more closely resemble the main Walking Dead show, and in season 4, even gained a new character, Morgan, a direct transplant from The Walking Dead. Fear season 5 left off with Morgan in a precarious situation and his fate is unknown, but this new trailer for Fear season 6 promises to reveal if and how Morgan survives.

During Fear the Walking Dead‘s virtual panel for [email protected], a new trailer for season 6 was released. Along with teasing the upcoming season, the trailer confirmed that Fear the Walking Dead season 6 will now premiere on October 11.
